FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Back to Discovery?
Back to Discovery is a trauma-aware inner work workshop and mentoring pathway focused on emotional capacity, nervous system awareness, and conscious response. It is designed to help you build a more grounded relationship with yourself and your experiences in the present moment.
This is an educational and mentoring-based program, not therapy or medical treatment.
Is this therapy?
No.
Back to Discovery does not provide psychotherapy, diagnosis, or clinical trauma treatment. Facilitators are trained mentors, not licensed clinicians. This work focuses on present-moment awareness, emotional regulation, and integration.
If you are seeking trauma therapy, we encourage working with a licensed professional.
Will we relive past trauma?
No.
We do not revisit or process trauma memories. The work focuses on how patterns show up now—in your body, emotions, and reactions—using gentle awareness and choice-based practices.
You are never asked to share trauma stories.
What if I feel overwhelmed during the workshop?
You are always free to pause, step away, or opt out of any exercise. Consent is central to this work.
Facilitators are trained to support grounding and pacing, but you are responsible for your own wellbeing and are encouraged to have outside support available if needed.
Do I have to share personal details in the group?
No.
Sharing is always optional. You may participate quietly and privately. There is no requirement to disclose personal history.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop may be supportive if you:
• want to understand emotional and relational patterns
• feel reactive or overwhelmed at times
• are ready to build real-life regulation skills
• value consent-based, grounded inner work
Who should not attend?
This workshop is not appropriate if you are currently in acute crisis, experiencing severe dissociation, or seeking trauma therapy.
If you have severe PTSD, we recommend participating only alongside licensed professional support.
If you’re unsure, we encourage scheduling an orientation call.
What should I bring?
• comfortable clothing
• water
• a journal or notebook
• a quiet space (for virtual sessions)
You may also want something grounding nearby (blanket, cushion, etc.).
How long is the workshop?
The workshop is approximately 6 hours, including breaks.
Exact schedules are provided after registration.
Is there follow-up support?
Yes.
Depending on your registration tier, you may receive:
• a group integration call
• reflection prompts
• resource recommendations
• optional 1:1 integration support
Participants are also invited into the Level 2 mentoring pathway if appropriate.
What are the pricing options?
We offer three tiers:
Community Access
Standard

Each tier includes different levels of integration support. Current pricing is listed on the registration page.
Seats are limited to maintain safety and depth.
What is your refund policy?
Workshops: • Full refund up to 7 days before start
• 50% refund up to 48 hours before
• No refunds after the workshop begins
Mentoring programs include a 7-day grace period. After that, payments are non-refundable.
Exceptions may be considered for medical emergencies.
How is my information handled?
We collect only what is necessary for participation and safety. Your information is stored securely and never sold or shared.
You may request deletion of your data at any time.
What makes Back to Discovery different from other inner work programs?
Back to Discovery prioritizes:
• safety before insight
• capacity over catharsis
• consent over pressure
• integration over intensity
• agency over dependence
There are no promises of “complete healing” or dramatic transformation. The focus is on sustainable change in how you relate to yourself and your life.
How do I know if this is right for me?
If you’re curious, grounded enough to explore your inner world, and willing to move at a human pace, this may be a good fit.
You’re welcome to schedule an orientation call to ask questions and assess readiness.
