~Lost~

Baby, when we were together, whispering words of forever I wondered if it'll be true love for all eternity. But now you are gone and I'm calling other ladies on the phone.

Wondering how you are, near or far... you are always on my mind, leaving no memories behind. A years gone by since you left me behind, for it was your time to go.

I think at night as I lay in bed, with thoughts of only you filling my head. That since we're not together... if it could of been forever, as I start to dream its turning day. There at your side is where I wish to stay.

I wake up thinking I should call, I pick up the phone and realize you are gone. My eyes start to fill with tears, but inside my head I hear the songs we used to play together. The time we shared is deeply treasured, the love I feel could never be measured... I know it’s a little late, I hope you know I miss you so. These few words I string in lines, are to let you know I still love you.

Sorry it took so long for me spend the time to write, I know it may be quite a surprise. You may think it’s all lies, but I promise it’s all true. But I'll leave this here for you to decide. If you were here to look into my eyes, you would clearly see, they are not alibis.

With you I played a part that involved my heart, dumb or smart... I would do it all again. My soul feels lost now that you are gone. What’s a man to do when he's feeling sad all so blue, with only one girl on his mind and all others behind.

No one to talk to, no one who cares, I sit in despair. Please tell me why...
I remember holding you tight all through the night, talking and laughing and never a fight. Memories of happiness fills my mind, love fills my heart, and my eye full of tears.

Is this for real or is it only a dream, that will fade the night away... till we meet again!!!
