Back to Discovery is a personal development and mentoring program. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, medical treatment, or crisis services. Facilitators do not diagnose conditions or provide therapy. Participants are responsible for seeking licensed support when needed. By participating, you acknowledge that emotional material may arise and agree to engage at your own pace, using personal judgment and external support as appropriate.
Facilitator-facing addendum:
Facilitators operate within an educational mentoring scope. Any presentation of clinical authority, diagnosis, or therapeutic treatment is prohibited.

By enrolling, you agree to the following:
You agree to seek appropriate professional support when needed and understand that this program is not a substitute for medical or psychological care.
Back to Discovery provides trauma-aware mentoring and educational experiences. It is not therapy, medical care, or crisis intervention.
Personal Responsibility:
You are responsible for your own wellbeing, participation choices, and boundaries. You may pause or opt out of any exercise.
Eligibility:
You confirm that you are not currently in acute crisis and that you have access to external support if needed.
Confidentiality:
Group spaces are confidential. You agree not to share other participants’ personal material outside the program.
Consent:
You may decline any activity at any time. No explanation required.
LIABILITY LIMITATION:
By participating, you acknowledge that inner work may involve emotional discomfort and agree to hold Back to Discovery harmless for personal outcomes.
Release of Liability:
You release Back to Discovery and its facilitators from liability related to emotional discomfort, personal insights, or life changes arising from participation.
Respectful Conduct:
Harassment, coercion, or disruptive behavior results in removal without refund.
Data Use:
Your information is stored securely and used only for program delivery and improvement. You may request deletion.
Termination:
Back to Discovery reserves the right to discontinue services if participation exceeds the scope of mentoring or requires clinical intervention.
Back to Discovery reserves the right to remove participants who violate boundaries or safety agreements.
REFUND POLICY
Workshops:
• Full refund up to 7 days before start
• 50% refund up to 48 hours before
• No refunds after workshop begins
Mentoring Programs
• 7-day grace period after program start
• After that, payments are non-refundable due to limited-capacity containers
Exceptions:
Refunds may be granted in cases of medical emergency or significant life disruption, at program discretion.
Removal for Conduct:
If a participant is removed for violating agreements, no refund is issued.
By enrolling, you acknowledge that emotional growth requires commitment and that refunds are not provided for discomfort, resistance, or change of mind.

DATA PRIVACY PRACTICES
Back to Discovery collects only information necessary for participation and safety. We do not sell or share personal data. Records are stored securely and accessed only by authorized facilitators. Participants may request deletion of their information at any time. This program is not therapy, and no medical records are kept.
Allowed: • name

• outcome surveys
Avoid unless absolutely necessary: • detailed trauma narratives
• medical diagnoses
• medication lists
If someone volunteers those, you do not store them unless required for safety.
